Planned Features

Nonprofit research organizations and commercial companies located within the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center of Bucks County will share and enjoy the benefits of shared resources and capabilities. The facility is designed to have several general laboratories for molecular biology and cell biology work. It also features BL2 and BL3 labs, and a state-of-the-art infrastructure and communication systems.

Commercial Space Allocation
Approximately 35,000 square feet of the Center will be dedicated to commercial biotech start-up companies. Companies will have offices and access to common areas.

Very early-stage (nascent) – 200 to 500 ft2 that may be located within nonprofit research space
Mid-stage – up to 4,000 ft2
Late Stage – limited space available but 4-6,000 ft2
